I develop magnetic sensing and multimodal perception methods for robust robot localization, SLAM, and intelligent navigation in GPS-denied and perceptually challenging environments.
About me
I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering at the Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology (DGIST), Republic of Korea, working in the Autonomy and Perceptual Robotics Lab (APRL) with Prof. Giseop Kim.
My research combines magnetic sensing, LiDAR, inertial sensing, cameras, and artificial intelligence to improve robot localization and navigation where conventional sensing becomes unreliable.
I received my Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad. My doctoral work focused on magnetic thin films, exchange bias, planar Hall magnetoresistive sensors, and weak-field detection.
